Curtis began his engineering career learning the fundamentals of machining and metalwork through traditional apprenticeship, developing an understanding of materials, tolerances, and craftsmanship that forms the foundation of our approach today. Curtis Garnsworthy is the driving force behind Efford Engineering. With extensive experience spanning all aspects of precision engineering, Curtis brings a wealth of practical knowledge and technical expertise to every project we undertake. His journey in engineering began with a traditional apprenticeship, where he developed fundamental skills in lathe work, milling, grinding, and welding that remain the cornerstone of his approach today.
Throughout his career, Curtis has worked across multiple industrial sectors, gaining invaluable experience in the specific requirements and quality standards demanded by industries such as aerospace, oil and gas, food processing, and agricultural machinery. This diverse background enables him to understand client needs from the first conversation and recommend the most effective manufacturing solutions.
Curtis is personally committed to quality and customer satisfaction. He oversees operations at our Exeter workshop, ensuring every component meets our exacting standards before leaving our facility.
